This committee provides oversight, strategies and research for the chapter’s legislative and social justice activities; develops strategies to increase member involvement in legislative process; provides committee hearing testimony, and supports social work in dismantling oppressive systems, and protecting and advancing the profession. Members may also be asked to attend community coalition meetings.
